Janet Moon is Senior Counsel in Bousquet Holstein’s Immigration Practice Group, where she focuses her practice on immigration law. She offers her clients thorough legal analysis and responsive service, as she helps them navigate various immigration issues.
Janet concentrates her practice in the areas of family-based green card applications, removing conditions, citizenship and naturalization; transitioning from a student exchange visitor status to employment; and employment-based petitions and visas, as well as complex admissibility or denial issues, including:
Janet helps put a client’s mind at ease by guiding them through each step of their immigration process. She will start by working with you to assess your situation, explain the process that applies to you, and develop a strategy for you. Along the way, Janet is available to answer your questions and advise you on the process.
Prior to joining Bousquet Holstein, Janet teamed up with veteran immigration attorney Diane Chappell-Daly. Janet took over Diane’s practice of over 20 years, and has continued Diane’s commitment to excellence.
Janet is a native of Connecticut. She attended Smith College in Northampton, Massachusetts, before moving to the Syracuse area where she attended Syracuse University College of Law and the Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs.
Janet and her husband Alan, have embraced Central New York, and made Syracuse their home. They enjoy playing board games and walking their dog, Sailor.
