John assists the Firm’s Board of Managers with strategic and tactical planning and implementation and oversees the Firm’s operating departments. Prior to joining the Firm, John held executive positions in the life insurance industry and led entrepreneurial initiatives including developing and leading new businesses and corporate divisions. He brings to the firm expertise in strategic planning, financial planning and analysis, capital management, product development and implementation, contract negotiations, and operations management.

Jan has been with Bousquet Holstein since 2010. He serves as the firm’s Director of Marketing and Public Relations and works with each attorney and practice area providing strategic guidance and support for developing and executing marketing, media, and business development plans. Prior to working at Bousquet Holstein, Jan directed marketing programs for independent businesses, not-for-profit trade associations, and start-up enterprises. Jan also served for more than 20 years in various marketing and management positions in the hospitality industry.

Ted Hanousek has been with Bousquet Holstein since 2009. As Director of Records Management, he is responsible for managing the Firm’s informational assets, from inception to disposition. He assists each practice group and attorney to research, develop, design, and implement information lifecycle protocols that fit within the firm’s strategic goals.
Prior to working at Bousquet Holstein Ted was Records Manager for Syracuse University, responsible for developing, advising, and coordinating the implementation of the University’s records policy.

Lisa joined Bousquet Holstein in 2017. As Director of Human Resources she is responsible for implementing human resource management strategies involving workforce planning, performance management, recruitment, staffing and employee benefits. Prior to working at Bousquet Holstein, Lisa was the Regional Office Director for Barclay Damon overseeing five of their offices.

Ryan P. Coburn

Ryan has been with Bousquet Holstein since 2007. As IT Manager, he oversees the Firm’s Information Technology department and is responsible for ensuring that all firm employees are able to use technology efficiently in order to assist their clients. He also works with firm management to plan and implement future technology needs to achieve firm goals. Ryan has been instrumental in coordinating the IT planning and implementation of build-out requirements for a complete office relocation and an office expansion. Prior to working at Bousquet Holstein, Ryan worked in IT support roles for a children’s therapy firm and a national music retailer.

Samantha Z. Kasmarek

Sam joined Bousquet Holstein in 2021. She monitors associate development to ensure that attorneys are progressing along the practice area’s desired developmental trajectory. She also coordinates with the recruitment team on attorney recruiting, including lateral attorneys, entry level attorneys and summer associates.
Prior to joining the firm, Sam began her legal career at Hiscock & Barclay (now Barclay Damon) in Syracuse where she concentrated on commercial litigation matters as well as torts, insurance and products liability issues. She most recently worked at Syracuse University College of Law in their Career Services Office where she counseled students on career planning, and all aspects of securing legal positions, including judicial clerkships. She also spent time overseeing the school’s externship program, helping students to secure placements, and teaching a seminar that covered topics to help students prepare to practice. Sam has also presented on law student related topics at several conferences for the National Association for Law Placement, in addition to serving in leadership roles and writing articles for the organization’s monthly publication.
Education: Bachelor of Arts, Le Moyne College; Juris Doctor, SUNY Buffalo Law School.
License: Admitted to practice in New York State.
