Kathryn is a paralegal in the Residential and Commercial Real Estate Practice Group. She has 27 years of extensive experience in assisting various mortgage companies and lending institutions in the closing of residential real estate matters, including preparation of related closing documents such as Notes, Mortgages, Assignments, Consolidation Agreements, and HUD I/RESPA forms. She is also very knowledgeable in the examination of title insurance and manages the firm’s title agency.
Kathryn organizes, prepares and attends closings on behalf of the firm. She also assists attorneys on various projects involving the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, State of New York Office of Mental Retardation and Development Disabilities, Not-for-Profit organizations and campus housing companies. She has worked on development projects for facilities for the elderly and the handicapped, residential and commercial developers and construction loans, liquor license applications, and zoning applications.
Prior to joining the firm, Kathryn had several years of experience in real estate. Her knowledge, confidence and personality make the clients very comfortable and as a result, keep them coming back to our firm.
Kathryn received her paralegal degree from LeMoyne College. She is also a member of the Onondaga County Bar Association, and has been the guest speaker at several local and middle high schools during Law Week.

Kim is a paralegal in the Trust and Estates and Employee Benefits Practice Groups, concentrating in estate administration, trust administration, preparation of estate tax returns, estate and trust fiduciary income tax returns, preparation of estate and trust accountings and Employee Benefits Form 5500. She has over 16 years of estate and trust administration experience. Kim began her career at HSBC Bank USA in the trust and estate areas. At HSBC Bank USA, Kim became a Vice President and Trust Officer in the Trust Administration Center in Syracuse.
In addition to her career in the field of trust and estate administration, Kim also received her Masters Degree in Education – Secondary Mathematics. Kim taught secondary mathematics for five years at the middle school and high school levels and is currently an adjunct faculty member at Bryant & Stratton College where she teaches college level mathematics.
Kim is a volunteer at the Salvation Army and is a member of the YMCA of Greater Syracuse.

Marjorie is a paralegal in the Economic Development, Business Law, and Trust and Estates Practice Groups. She has been a paralegal for 10 years and provided legal support for 10 years prior to becoming a paralegal. Her work focuses on maximizing financial and tax incentives for clients that are available through local, state, and federal economic development and tax incentive programs. She completes Business Annual Reports, credit claim forms, and additional reporting requirements on behalf of clients in order to maintain participation in the respective program as well as maximize benefits. She handles all the necessary steps in entity formation, maintenance of corporate records, and dissolutions.
Marjorie also has experience with all aspects of trust administration, and the Qualified Domestic Relations Orders/Domestic Relations Orders process.

Lisa is a paralegal in the Trusts and Estates Practice Group. She has 18 years of experience working closely with individual and corporate fiduciaries in the administration of estates and trusts. Lisa provides administrative support to our clients in handling estates, including but not limited to, meeting probate court requirements, marshalling assets, payment of debts, estate tax and fiduciary income tax return preparation, collecting benefits, assisting with payment of retirement benefits and completion of closing documents.
Lisa also helps clients through the Trust Administration process, including funding of trusts, marshalling assets and beneficiary distributions. She also works closely with our clients including the following: Estate Planning, Fiduciary Accounting, Medicaid Applications, Guardianship Proceedings, and Gift Taxes.
Lisa received her paralegal degree from LeMoyne College, National Academy for Paralegal Studies. She is the Chairperson of our Wellness Committee, a member of the YMCA of Greater Syracuse, and Strength and Motion.

Erin is a paralegal in the Trusts and Estates Practice Group. She has a great deal of experience assisting
in the creation of estate plans as well as the subsequent funding of various types of trusts.
Prior to joining Bousquet Holstein, Erin focused primarily on drafting Wills, Revocable Trusts, Irrevocable Medicaid Trusts, Irrevocable Life Insurance Trusts (ILITs), First and Third Party Special Needs Trusts,
Promissory Notes, Caregiver agreements, and real property transfers.
In addition to her experience in Trusts and Estates, Erin has also assisted in matters pertaining to business succession planning, legal entity formation and recordkeeping, residential real estate, and Guardianship proceedings.

Christi serves as a Paralegal in the Litigation Practice Group. Christi assists attorneys within the firm with any and all aspects of State and Federal litigation processes. She is involved with preparing cases from the commencement of an action through the post-trial appeal process.
Prior to joining our firm, Christi had been working as a paralegal for over 13 years. She has a vast array of experience in multiple practice areas, some resulting from her time serving the City of Syracuse as a Paralegal in the Office of the Corporation Counsel. There, she assisted attorneys with City, State and Federal litigation along with transactional matters, while also investigating, processing and reviewing the City’s Notices of Claims.
Outside of the office, Christi is very active in the community. She volunteers and participates in events for organizations such as Syracuse First, Syracuse New Times, Onondaga Historical Association, Aids Community Resources, and Downtown Committee of Syracuse. Christi also co-hosts #takeatour, a local television show that features places and fun facts to help expose all that our area has to offer. In January of 2015 Christi was featured in Syracuse Woman Magazine as a woman who inspires.
Christi has earned a Bachelor of Science from the State University College at Brockport where she dual majored in Criminal Justice and Political Science. She has also completed training with the State of New York Division of Criminal Justice Services in Interview and Interrogation. She is a member of the Onondaga County Bar Association. Christi is also a proud member of the Daughters of the American Revolution.

Kristi is an experienced paralegal in the Immigration Practice Group. She is well versed in many aspects of immigration law, concentrating in the areas of both employment and family based immigration. In the employment-based area she prepares EB-1, EB-5, H-1B, K-1, L-1, O-1, P-1 and R-1 visas with great care to detail. She also has experience with family-based petitions, naturalization, citizenship, adjustment of status and dual citizenship. She serves as a liaison between attorneys and clients while providing timely and professional service to all.
Prior to joining Bousquet Holstein, Kristi worked as a labor and employment legal assistant for 17 years. She also has experience with workers’ compensation and personal injury law.

Prior to her career in trusts and estates, Peg worked for 17 years as a real estate legal assistant, working with clients and lending institutions on all aspects of closing real estate matters.
Peg received her Masters Degree in Education from SUNY Cortland and her Bachelors degree from Syracuse University.
Outside of work, Peg participates in the Cancer Resource Center of the Finger Lakes annual Walk-a-thon and has participated yearly in the local Salvation Army’s Adopt-a-Family holiday project.

Yvonne is an experienced Paralegal in the Real Estate Practice Group. She has over 16 years of experience as a paralegal in various areas of real estate law, including assisting in both commercial and residential transactions in the representation of lenders, sellers and purchasers, which transactions included mortgage refinances, consolidations, mortgage spreaders, and building loan agreements.
She has assisted in processing closings for a prominent Not-For-Profit organization in Syracuse where she was involved from beginning to completion, including preparing loan documents, reviewing title reports, determining any necessary actions to clear title-related issues, and in the coordinating and attending of closings. She has assisted attorneys in various complex commercial transactions involving economic development incentives and grants as well as in the processing of sales of properties owned by the Federal National Mortgage Association throughout several different counties in New York State, ensuring that these transactions closed in a timely manner.
In addition to her paralegal experience, Yvonne has over 18 years of experience as an Administrative Assistant at other area law firms. She has been a member of the Paralegal Section of the Onondaga County Bar Association and CNY Mortgage Bankers Association.

Tracy is a Paralegal in the Business Law Practice Group. Tracy assists attorneys within the firm with various financial and tax incentives for clients that are available through local, state, and federal economic development and tax incentive programs, focusing on the Empire Zones Program and the Brownfield Cleanup Program.
Prior to joining our firm, Tracy had been working as a paralegal for over 15 years, most recently focusing on regulatory matters with large energy and telecommunications clients. Tracy has worked on several large rate cases with the Public Service Commission and has experience with a variety of federal and state agencies. Tracy also provided support in various environmental matters including the defense of CERCLA claims, Superfund clean-ups and project siting.
Tracy received her Bachelor of Arts from the State University of New York at Cortland where she majored in Sociology with a minor in Women’s Studies. Outside of the office, Tracy volunteers at the Samaritan Center and with Hospice of Central New York.

Ellen is a paralegal in the Residential and Commercial Real Estate Practice Group in the Ithaca office. Prior to joining Bousquet Holstein, Ellen worked closely with Randall B. Marcus and Virginia A. Tesi of Marcus Orkin Tesi LLP and continues to do so since they have all joined the firm. She remains a central part of this close-knit team, and enjoys continually honing her skills with the nuances of every transaction.

Shelley works in the Ithaca office and is a paralegal in the Residential and Commercial Real Estate Practice Group with over 23 years of experience closing residential and commercial real estate transactions. Mortgage lenders appreciate Shelley’s ability to deftly manage client expectations, accurately draft closing documents and calmly and confidently oversee hundreds of transactions a year. Residential clients quickly come to realize that her vast knowledge of the home buying, selling and mortgaging processes help them avoid unnecessary delay in getting to closing.
For the 12 years prior to joining Bousquet Holstein, Shelley worked closely with Randall B. Marcus and Virginia A. Tesi of Marcus Orkin Tesi LLP, in Ithaca, New York, and remains an integral part of their real estate team since all of them joined Bousquet Holstein.
Shelley earned her Paralegal Associates Degree from Tompkins Cortland Community College where she was a member of the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society. She also earned a Bachelor of Arts from the State University of Oswego where she dual majored in American Studies and History. While attending SUNY Oswego, she was a member of Alpha Phi Omega Co-ed National Service Fraternity where she volunteered on many community service projects including Adopt-A-Highway, provided pet therapy at local nursing homes, and coordinated with the local police department to fingerprint and photograph children with their parents for safety and identification kits.

Michele received her paralegal degree from Bryant and Stratton College. She also earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Cultural Studies with a concentration in English Literature from SUNY Empire State College. When away from Bousquet Holstein, Michele enjoys baking, crafting and spending time with her grandchildren.
